Being part of every liver resection the parenchyma transection is a very important tool in the technical repertoire of an HPB-Surgeon. Although the technical principles are similar there are a number of variations and modifications in dissecting the liver, depending on the surgeon´s preference, and they surely have an impact on the surgical outcome regarding i.e. blood loss, operation time, bile leakage and costs among others.
For this webinar we gathered a number of expert liver surgeons who will share the key aspects and secrets of
their own liver parenchyma dissection technique in a “how I do it”-format which for sure will generate an
exciting discussion on this topic.
